Doug brings a comforting voice, an encouraging spirit, and a wealth of biblical knowledge. You may recognize him from his 19 years as a host on the Message Channel on Sirius XM, from station KCBI in Dallas, or from other Christian stations. Doug succeeds the late Randy Zachary who anchored the afternoon hours for the past four years.
Doug shares his thoughts on joining Family Radio. “In bold letters, literally on the wall at the Family Radio studios, is Romans 10:17: ‘So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the Word of God.‘ God — the Holy Spirit — promises to be at work whenever His word is spoken. Family Radio takes this seriously, and everything they do goes beyond mere entertainment. It is why I am so glad to co-labor with them. I cannot wait. For me, this is a calling.”
Doug and his wife and family have called Nashville home for over 30 years. They live in close proximity to the Franklin headquarters in nearby Spring Hill, Tennessee.
