  1. It is 1:38 am Friday, Feb. 21, 2025. Can’t sleep, ptsd kicking in, it’s the same every night for the past 30 years. On March 15th of this year will be one year since I returned to my Lord Jesus after being a prodigal son for 12 years and a raging alcoholic. Next month will mark 1 year I’ve been sober.. I never liked the taste of alcohol and wasn’t a drinker until my wife passed away, and 2 years later, almost to the day, my mother passed too. Alcohol became my numbing agent and I drank heavily for the next 12 years, almost everyday until a year ago and that was my last drink. Alcohol was what helped me to sleep and it’s been horrible not being able to but yet, I’ve held strong and my Lord has helped me. The alcohol took it’s toll and affected my health, so there’s that. Again, tonight I couldn’t sleep, I started going through my phone and there was an advertisement for the Family Radio app, which eventually led me here. Now, I’ll listen to your programs and possibly grab a little sleep while I listen of Jesus. Thank you. “Wolf.”
